Seems comparable to the Alesis SR-16 only it has theadded bass channel.
Just thinking maybe using formy midi songs and then at times using as stand alone for the manualverse a,b,c etc. Would youthen use the audio output jack from it to the PA for sound as opposedto a midi in and out usb to the laptop like my Roland XV 5050? Thisunit looks pretty versatile on it's on. will the Boss DR-3 drum machine work with midi filesimputed to it? Looks like midi in on the back of the unit. Be sure to change the USB Mode in the DR-880 to 'MIDI.' (Should not be set to 'STORAGE'). Note: For Windows 10, the driver is installed automatically once you connect the DR-880 to the computer and power it on.
